Lockdown 2020 London | Anna Twelve

£10.00
Sold Out

On January 31st, 2020, the first case of Covid-19 reached the UK. Shortly in its footsteps followed deaths, NHS overwhelm, and a nationwide lockdown. While the economy panicked, London got a breath of fresh air. The Thames water begun to clear, air pollution dropped rapidly, and people used their allocated daily outdoor hour with care.

Over the course of the UK’s lockdowns, Anna photographed famous landmarks across central London as we’ve never seen them - empty. Here, single people standing comically out of place in frame have been put together, vacuum packed, and wiped with Dettol to transport you to that point in time as you rip open the package.

Please wash hands before handling and be sure to thank your postal worker on arrival.
